Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters

Ok, so I have plenty of information on what guitars he has been playing (I saw them with Weezer in October, and he was who I could see best, well, after Taylor Hawkins) but I was wondering what he has been using on the floor and what amps he has been using. Is he using Mesas like Dave Grohl, or does he still use his savage and marshall?

thanks in advance

It's called "the search button" my friend. You'll find it.

You know, these posts are really annoying when they're *wrong.* If you search "Complete That Rig" for "shiflett," you find three threads. One is this one. One is a list of influential guitarists. And one has a broken link to Shiflett's pedalboard.

It's Mesa/Boogie Dual Recto Road King now. I do not know if he updated his pedals.

Oddly enough, GuitarOne's Backline Blueprint this month is him and Grohl. Their setups are almost identical, Shiflett uses:

Boss TU-2 tuner, Ernie Ball volume pedal, 2 Boss DD2 digital delays, MXR Phase 90, Boss BR-2 flanger, Boss TR-2 tremolo, TC Electronic G-Force, 2 Shure UHF wireless units, 2 Mesa Roadkings and 2 Mesa 4x12's loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's. Grohl's rig is the same, minus the G-Force, one of the Boss delays, the tremolo and the flanger.

He's got two Phase 90's a TU-2 and that's all I could tell from when I saw the 24 hours of Foo on MTV2 a few months ago. Plus a Road King off to the side of the stage.
