i used to be an emo kid. i learned that most of it was the same song on repeat from cd to cd, and i decided that i'd let go of an immature and useless form of music that has nothing to offer outside of whats given to you at face value.
okay... I mean like what music you like. even if you dont like the scene or the fans. I mean I used to love korn and I still think they have some cool stuff but Im not going to get all bent out of shape about it.

But this is a thread about what gear they use, not how much anyone hates them. Yes, you're entitled to your opinion and to state it but stating it in a thread about what they use to make music isn't really a great idea.

I dunno about anyone else, but I find hating bands or music or music genres to be a stupid thing to do. If you don't like em, don't listen to em. Why go through the trouble of putting anger and hate against a band that has done nothing to you personally. It's like killing flies with a shotgun in your house, one of these days rain is gonna come through those holes you shot in your roof and you're going to think "Damn, I shouldn't have done that."

I'm stating a sensible option, not whinging.

Sure you can speak what you want, but usually stating your dislike for a band and so on leads to long pages of arguments in a thread that's supposed to be about their gear.

But judging from your reply you obviously know better than me. So go on then. Fire up the flames.

That sentance perfectly exemplifies my point. Saying that you "found out their music sucked" is just saying "I'm trying so hard to be the person all the cool kids want me to be, even if I have to get rid of my 1,000+ disc CD collection to prove it." You're more than welcome to stop listening to MCR (I never listened to them to begin with, though I have seen a few of their videos and the new one for "I'm Not OK..." is a brilliant concept). All I'm saying is that you shouldn't abandon music because it stops being "cool" or "in".

Edit: Just saw the "Ghost of You" video, another brilliant concept. Muy Jealous.

no, i just started to dislike it thoroughly because it sounded just like the other cds i had in my collection at the time, and i still have all the cds as it is.
