In the UK the BBC is paid for with money from a TV license- if you own a TV in a household and want to watch it, you have to pay the TV license, which funds the BBC. That means that there are no adverts on the BBC, unlike on every other TV channel.

Interesting indeed. Our public channel is paid with taxes and advertising and it isn't half as cool as the BBC. Long live Britain!

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

Did any one see the 7 ages of rock shown a while ago?
It was interesting enough but the same stock footage that they always show but with flashy editing

I didnt really agree with the idea of there being 7 different ages. They didn't fit well chronologically and they lumped odd bunches of bands together.
Apaarently rock started in 1963...
Led Zep and U2 both part of the 'Stadium rock age'??

It is because the US is not on the same level of fasci- er, so******m that the UK is at yet.

If you can find a british proxy server, that is a way to get around it. Good luck on that, though. =\

Just watched the last installment. Johnny Marr is amazing, never realised how good he was!

I was abit dissapointed they used The Edge when discussing guitar effects, instead of someone like Johnny Greenwood!!!

Sweet programme!
