Gibson 57 classic pickups in a 335, controlled feedback?

Hey guys, I wonder if any of you can help me?..hopefully im going be putting in some (Gibson 57 classic pups) in both positions on a (Epiphone 335 dot) sounds like the way to go).....just want to know,can i still get some of the controlled feedback with the 57s in this type of guitar??..in a musical way of course and not the microphonic kind ha-ha!..I can with the Epiphone ones i have in there at the moment so im guessing that i can?..any info would be much appreciated.....cheers!

Sure if you have gain on it, best way I get controlled feedback is a mild boost (just volume really) into a distorted amp, or a fairly heavy OD into an amp that's just started to break up on its own. Cover only certain strings and whatnot; take some time just playing feedback and you'll start to uncover its secrets.
