One person's garbage is another person's gold.
For someone like me that can hardly play, doesn't care about speed/tone/etc., and just wants to noise out It's a beautiful sound making tool. As much fun as it is to play an excellent playing guitar (ala slim necked Ibanez shred machine that stays in tune for a billion years), It's a lot more fun for me to push the limits of a hard to play piece of crap. Why do I want to worry about ruining a $1000+ guitar with my 'technique' when I can get a couple beaters and beat them even more. To each his own I guess, it's still a sexy beast to me and probably a few others on here. |

Honestly, what is it with the rippin' on the Teisco/Danelectro/Kay, etc etc?
I realize you have an opinion, and are allowed to, But I just can't understand the logic? It's like you're bitter over something and can't let it go; It's really repulsive. I can understand thinking it's bad, but you don't even lay any support for your view, you just dismiss it outright; It's like you're Just trolling out of Spite for anyone who DARE like these things. Yes, you've been about longer then me, and I don't hold much water against you, but I sure as hell would at least give a reason behind my opinion rather then just slag something. ![]() Olddawg Aside; This is one of the better of the Teisco's bridgewise, It's actually somewhat adjustable. Finding one with the Vibrato arm attached is pretty rare, pitty about the pickguard though. I honestly Don't know the model Number for this one, so I can't say much. Paint's not GREAT, but it's mostly there. I can say I've loved every Teisco Neck I've ever Played, for what it's worth. Wish I could help you out, but where I normally have Cash, I have a void.
