guitar wiring
So I have a les paul style guitar, and it's got only 1 volume pot and no tone pots, I wanna hook up 2 humbuckers to it, but I have absolutely no idea how to wire the pickup selectors to any of it, or if i need more pots
There's so many god damn wires and I don't know what to do, I need this guitar finished by tonite, so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Check out some stuff here. I'm not sure on specifically what you are talking about, but there should be something there.
This is standard Les Paul (2 independent volume and tone knobs) Hope that helps ![]() Is this going to be with WCR pickups?

if you follow the diagram above just remove the tone pots from the picture.
connect the pickups hot leads DIRECTLY to the switch. since you only have one volume pot the pickups go to the switch FIRST. now, the lead from the switch goes to the LEFT lug of the volume pot, and the CENTER lug of the volume pot goes to the 1/4 output. make sure you ground both pickups, 1/4 output jack, and your bridge ground wire to the back of the volume pot and you should be set.
