Question Identify that guitar (by description only...)

Greetings all!

I've been searching the web for a guitar I discovered by accident about 5 or 6 years ago; I can't remember the name of the manufacturer or find a picture, but I figured somebody on here might be able to identify it by description. It is (or was) made by a smaller boutique company with a price tag starting at somewhere around US$2K for the stripped-down 'Junior' model; for some reason Erlewine sprang to mind but it's not on their site.

Basically, I'd describe it as a cross between a Kay/Silvertone 1413 and a BC Rich Mockingbird, or kind of like a slightly kitschy '60's Japanese/Italian/German version of the Washburn Dan Donegan Maya) with beveled edges like an SG. It is (or was) available in a number of Gibson-like formats such as Standard, Special and Junior. I was recently reminded of it by the Bilt El Hombre and the EKO Kadett '67.

Other than that I'm kind of stumped. I vaguely recall seeing one in the hands of Nicke Royale of Hellacopters fame, but it could just have easily been someone else. Any help would be appreciated!

I just tracked it down after several days of trying every word combination I could think of - it was a Motor Ave LeMans. My initial description may have left something to be desired! They're a lot more pricey than I remembered. Bugger.
