LP Junior
Gibson les paul jr
Well, it looks like I'm buying this today if everything lines up. Does the price seem good to you guys? |

If that is a genuine Gibson and it plays good I'd say that is a fair price, but I'm no expert. Those inlays don't look familiar to me, maybe ask olddawg.
Good luck!

That's a bit of an odd bird to me. It would be a slab body LP Special reissue, not a Jr. But most I have seen have a slug bridge not a tunematic set up, and would have dot inlays. However, who knows what variation they were doing in the 90s. It's a decent price if there are no issues for just about any real Gibson LP. I would do an image search for LP Specials and see if you can find one exactly like it. Ask if there is any documentation from the owner, etc.

I'm actually going to look/buy tomorrow morning now. The closest thing I could find(with the same inlay) on an image search is in this thread:
Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway Gold Top with P90's - My Les Paul Forums But this is a different guitar altogether. Are there any markings/giveaways that it might not be authentic? The headstock/model number looks legitimate...I don't know anything about Les Pauls from this era though. |

That bridge arrangement on DC Specials is not super common but it does exist: les paul special dc, with tunematic - Google Search. But you see it more on Epiphones. Make sure it isn't a neck swap.
