I actually got this guitar last month and took pictures a couple weeks ago, but since I haven't been too active here in a while, I thought I'd share. This is a Sii-7 model made for me by KxK Guitars. For those of you unfamiliar with them (which I'm assuming includes most of the board), notable guitarists who use KxK guitars include KK Downing (Judas Priest), Karl Sanders (Nile), Manni Schmidt (Grave Digger), and Steve Swanson (Six Feet Under). As you can likely guess by now, KxK generally builds guitars with metal in mind. I haven't played a large number of high end guitars, but this is a hell of an instrument. It feels great, plays wonderfully, and projects loudly and clearly.

How's the liquifire? I'm not much for humbuckers, but that's the same pu's in the petrucci model and I dig his tone.

From what I remember, it's a pretty good pickup. It's fat and clear with plenty of mids. Great for leads and cleans. If you're familiar with the Air Norton, it's basically a tweaked version of that.

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

My main personal test of a solid body electric is what it sounds like acoustically (since electronics are easy to change), and the KxK sounded really nice. Every note projected loudly and clearly with an even and solid tone, even on the low B string. It almost sounded a little like an acoustic with nickel strings. Piezos would have been amazing in it.
