Talking The strat plus love thread

Hey, just thought I'd say hello to any other Strat Plus users out there. I've got a '94 model with Gold Gold Red lace sensors and lsr nut, and I love it. It has been and will be my number 1 for years to come.

Great quality instruments, and because they're not considered vintage yet (although I expect that will change soon) they can be had for very good money. If you see one ,GET IT

cheers

john

I also have a strat plus. It's an '89 model in red with three gold lace sensors and the lsr nut on a maple fretboard. It's a great guitar and I too would recommend them if you can find them.

I had an 88' Strat Plus in Torino Red...I'll be damned if there was any single way to get that guitar out of tune, 'cause I never found one.

I traded mine though 'cause I couldn't stand the neautrality of the Lace Sensors...I could see how these would be desirable though

I picked up an 87 strat plus 4 or five years ago with 3 gold lace sensors, but swapped out the bridge pickup for a SD hotrail and it makes it so much more useable.

Its a mental colour Caribbean Mist apparently. Luscious green colour.

I was recently offered a deal on a nice tele, but I just couldn't bear to part with the plus!

My sig is wrong, its an 87 not 86 (I think). Havent taken the neck off to check yet.

I own a 1987 Candy Apple Red Stratocaster Plus previously owned by Joe Bonamassa which is in near mint condition. It has 3 Gold Lace Sensors.

I also own a
1988 Vintage White Stratocaster Plus which is in 9 out of 10 condition. Pickup wise, it has 2 silvers and a blue in the bridge. I'm not positive that's the color name, feel free to correct me. The picture is not the best representation of it...it's more cream/faded vintage white in color.

I used to own a 1989 Torino Red Stratocaster Plus that was in near mint condition, but I sold it because it was exactly the same sound as the 1988 one I had...I should have kept it because of the color.

I recently saw a 1989 Graffiti Yellow one that I almost pulled the trigger on, but it was beat up a little too much.
