So I've got iFCB, and it recognizes my FCB-1010. I tried to load the Ableton Live sysex file, since when I just plugged in the FCB-1010 straight away it was sending Pitch Bend parameters to Ableton, and not triggering my loops or effects.

EDIT: After loading the sysex file from iFCB, I can't MIDI map any of the buttons!

I also noticed in the included sysex file for Ableton in iFCB, that it arms tracks to play, record, stop, whatever...I don't want to do that! How do I set up the board to just send CC messages I can assign to effects, and loop playback like say, a nanoKontrol or an MPD?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have no experience with iFCB, but I have found that it usually just works out better to program the FCB1010 by hand. There are manuals online which explain the programming features. It isn't the most intuitive interface so it may take a good evening/afternoon of tweaking before you get it the way you want, but when you do it is worth it.
