Hey, I had a volume pedal question and from what I remember you are the man to ask when it comes to those!

My amp is a Soldano with a line level fx loop that comes before the tone stack. I'm thinking of trying a volume pedal in the loop to get a true solo boost, so my question is would a 25k or a 250k pedal work best?
