I'd be happy to help you out if i can, Daniel!

Well, the "mojo" of having a big box vintage rat is a huge deal to some people. Patrick told me that he's decided to keep his after he used it at a gig. I was gonna trade my whammy for it and some cash, then deal the rat towards you. didn't work out, tho.

It's all good man. No worries. I don't need any more chorus anyways.

If I were you, I'd go for the BD-2 and CE-3. I'd trade the BM to you for the CE-3 just to have an old boss. But I would also sell the BM to you $20 if you wanted it for cash. Then you could probably talk him into giving you some more pedals, too.

Hell reah! Gotta get up with her soon and see what she's up to.

Nah, I wouldn't do it. It can short, but I always know what to do so that it wont. Still just too much **** to be worrying with while you tweak it.

I thought that he had some nice ass old peaveys? In purple rain fo sho. But I think some of that tone comes from the Oranges, but back in the day he used Mes/boogie MKI's and such. Maybe you should check out the Oxford from Tech 21.

It's just part of the game, bro.

Surprisingly enough, I've "held hands" with a girl named Nikki before she became a sex fiend.

I completely disconnected the battery-snap apparatus. You can play w/o the box just fine. its a pain in the ass to put back together tho.

Hell yeah! Just give it time to get that crazy explosive fuzz sound and you'll find it.

Hmm... anything that can be usefully controlled via that pot. Damn, I dunno what the chicken salad deal is. Maybe it's something in conjunction with the entire rig or summat that makes it happen?

I hate getting GAS dude. It bites me big time and I edn up with an overhaul. Maybe you should start with a DOD250 type build/Dist + and work your way up. It's my main OD right now, with plenty of punch and crispness to get heard while retaining clarity.

Make sure you know what you're doing is my only advice. Cold solder joints on PCB traces are not fun.

BYOC Mouse? Basically a Mondo mouse w/o my flavorings and I don't use the rotary pot. If you get it make sure you have the kit so that it all lines up.

Damn! that's just one of the qualities. tbh, it's probably more of a Impedance mis-matcher if you're using it that way. should pull some highs out of the signal compared to true volume pedals.

Yeah dude!! Those things are trippy and awesome.

That thing sounds like it's got some crazy treble and bass response. Like the treble is rolled off at the guitar but is bright going into it.

Everyone offers a million flavours so you can eventually find one that suits you.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... It's all good.

Congrats! I'm sure that you'll find one that can get the sound you're needing. Tonebenders walk the line of smooth/out-of-control/raspy and raw. if you can muster up the cash, I'd go for a Mahoney Bosstone. Or Earthquaker Devices Tone Reaper.

Dont you ever talk **** about Purple Rain. That's MY movie!!

There's a way to get the Muff to do that tone, but it's best to use a bridge humbucker. plenty of treble and back the gain to about 2 o clock.
