Well, I'm sure I could make the cables that go to the trimpots to where you can sitck them onto the face of the pedal for tweaking, or to where you can stick them back into the case when youve found a setting you like.

The smoothness is much more subtle than the girth. And one really crazy thing is the oscillations that can occur. I think that the girth is the only really practical one since it's so interactive with the filter control to get good tones very easily.

You should be able to find the info you need there.

The girth controls the amount of bass frequencies that will be distorted to allow for a fuller and warmer tonal flavoring with a more 3D and deep feel to it. I think I'll put a tweakable trimpot to control it on the inside.

HEEELLLL YYEEAAHHH! It KILLS for a metal tone! It's got plenty of gain too man! With the 3 modes, you won't need any other distortion. [Classic for country/southern/classic rock, turbo for crunchiness and REally good for Foo Fighters, and the Mondo mode that I designed has PLENTY of gain and bass response as well as dynamics to it.

Yeah, there's two on top and two on the back side. It's like these "flange" things that sort of jet out right next to the circuit board and allow no real room for drilling. = \

But I'm thinking we can just omit the LED [you can tell when it's on for sure! ], I'll add the Boss jack and the mode switch and a few tonal adjustments that it will need. I'll rip off the feet and throw them in the bag and just leave the battery hinge as it is.

Most of his solo stuff was on an Old Gibbo hollowbody. Crazy sustain and feedback!!

Sound cool to me! Mom sent off 3 pedals to Canadia-land today, so when she calls me I'll be able to get a price quote for internat'l shiping costs.

I loved mine, but it was just too much at the time for me to be really using, and I was growing tired of the same old pedals... Traded it to Razor and he LOVED it! Yeah, it can! If you read through some of my old posts, you can get lightly detailed things. Up to 48 seconds of looping, craaazzzyyy ass other **** too.

I hear ya man. The 335s take dirt very well, but just have a unique tone to them. Think of ted nugent.

Thanks man!! DSotS is mainly just me at home being bored. "Guilty." was recorded on my video camera for more lo-fi to it, and I'm waiting for a singer in Austrailia to record the vocals. something in the water isn't through yet [new mix to it, and vocals], but I'll be getting both of them published on a split ep by "Ifitmoves, kissit" label. [lofi, shoegaze, etc.] The only midi controller I had for it was my Computer Keyboard with Ableton Live, and the drums were from a digital keyboard's drum machine. The assorted blips were from all over the internet as free audio samples that I rearranged. And the Huge heartbeat in the middle is from somewhere that I can't recall.

I can't wait to get more recorded with my bass buddy!!! Insane sounding stuff, and VERY technical in terms of melodies and shizzat.

I remember The BIg Box rats from the 80s as the originals and the ones that everyone worships. I think the small box came along after that and now everything is a reissue, a Rat 2, or a rat with diff. Diodes. [Turbo=LED, You Dirty Rat=Germaniums, etc.]

It's got the same Circuitboard as the RAt2, just with diff components. The box has a special construction to where the only real place I'll be able to put switches will be on the very topmost part of the face, or on the sides. =/ the LEd has its own little slot on the cktboard, but if I were to put it there, it'd be coming right out of the R in Rat. [and not in the loop, like inside the leg of the R]

No problem man. The most expensive thing will probly be shipping! [Looking at it, it apears that the bypass circuitry has been removed... Guess someone only needed it to be ON or a killswitch!]

I'm working my ass off, just gotta get lucky and learn it all again.

    Guess what I got?

It works fantastically when activated, but the bypass does nothing... :/ It already has the LM308! It's the 90's Vintage Rat Reissue, and not the 80's vintage Rat. These are both big box with no led tho. The pics are exactly how it looks out of the box, too. I'm going to fix the bypass issue, throw a new battery door onto it, and then the rest is up to you Daniel!

Mode switch for Classic/Turbo/Mondo, Tonal flavors?, adjustable trimpot?, new LED, etc.

Sounds cool to me man. They're in no way amazing or any of the material I intend to release much of. DSotS is pretty big to me tho. all of the Moon (((O))) was done with a Toneport and Boss DD-20.
