I hear ya man. The only bad thing is, I ended up trading my Rat as part of a huge trade and ended up with a new recording console, guitar, and a bow. Sorry, Daniel... I could always do a complimentary friend mod to a brat and make it into an LM308 rat I still have a chiiipppp to do it with!

Nah, no NASCAR for me. I'm southern, but not that bad! It's just to make things easier on me and to make the world a little bit better. You'll dig it man, no worries!

I'm sure youll find a rat to dig. IIRC, they put out a cheaper line of BRATs and such around $35 USD.. Easily modded or taken as stock to be a close rat sound.

Not gear-wise. I'm actually stepping up and following a lost dream of mine. Don't wanna jinx it, so I'll say nothing. Most of my board will be up for sale soon and I'll be building my own and only dirt pedal. and of course, I'll begin building my starting line of products and they'll be winners!

    That goes without saying!

Except when you're drilling an EHX pedal. You might as well be prepared for bloodshed.

Well, I know a few places where I can always get good deals for SD-1's at I guess it can all wait until you're ready, Daniel!

Gotta be careful with stripping, it can be dangerous.

Yeah, I'd just go for a single 1x12.

I prefer it, but the baf monkey would do well too. If you want an TS808 get an SD1 and throw it my way. The Sd808 + Muff make a great pair.

Just leave thr amp alone for 30 min and swapping the tube is easy as pie. electricity drains fairly quickly.

it all depends. it may end up being easier just to build an extension cab and have it rigged up to a 12" instead and making the combo pretty much be a head. and then when you just want to play at home, have it where you can just use the smaller speaker.

opening the back opens up the bass response and makes it breath more. I like the sound of open, or semi-open back better than the boominess of closed-backs.

always a good thing! the only thing bad for a tube to do is not glow.

Oh yeah! Go for a BBE Green Screamer... They're a real sleeper pedal/ diamond in the rough! Yeah the muff, may be too much for the small speaker. sorry man...

Nah, just find a simple way to rig up the extension jack like I was saying [BUT NEVER LEAVE THE CABLE TO THE SPEAKER FROM THE AMP UNPLUGGED AND THEN TURN THE AMP ON; YOUR AMP WILL DIE] Okay?

i think your teach may appreciate it more once it's at a more manageable volume.
