Ah, figures Controlled feedback is something you can't really cheat, huh? It can only be done through a huge amp cranked to kingdom come? I get normal feedback like it's nothing, but not that high pitched screeching feedback. Just that growling low pitched stuff.

Yeah, I'll take it easy. Going to fast too quickly, that's when things get explode-y, right? Namely, amps? :B

Ah, alright That's all good. Because I do a lot of putting pedals in my school bag n stuff for days where I may just need a few pedals (like how I'm just using my GE-7 as a volume booster for Lead right now), and I don't want any solder connections to become undone like my cables do. Because lord knows right now I'm not the person to fix it

I see Well, I'll trust you with all that, then.

Sooo... oscillation is pretty much what's going on in this video..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtyPvjj24bM

At around 50 seconds (when the guitar starts feeding back into that high pitch squeal? Or is that just feedback, and oscillation is something even crazier?

And the girth trim pot will be the one that can cause oscillations?

That's cool So that means they're gonna be moving around a bit, which could lead to the connections getting cut. Anything we cna do to secure the solder things (tape?), or should they be durable enough?

I see. So it's not exactly a "simulate the smoothness you get when you crank the thing to the point of crazy tube saturation" kinda thing? I actually don't know what oscillations are. I keep hearing talk about delays that can oscillate etc etc, but yeah, if you think it isn't worth it, then there's no point.

The filter control is basically a backwards tone knob, right? Clockwise=Bass, Counterclockwise=treble?

That's cool. The trim pot'll be easier to tweak since I got no battery cover, right? Or are they stuck somewhere and I gotta really aim with a flathead to reach?

I'd love to have both of those in, if it isn't too much trouble.

So, I guess with the wonky housing, there won't be any room for the girth and smoothness knobs? Actually, what does that girth knob do, exactly?

Y'think I could get that hair metal 80s sound outta this thing? C.C.? Richie Sambora? (well, not anymore, I guess. He's got that bitchin' double neck tele/esquire..) I'd hate to ever have to go out and buy a metalzone because I need to play a few van halen tunes.

That's cool Do what you can and want to it. Everything's fine as long as it still goes stock

And when you get the price quote for the shipping, hit me up with the parts/mod labor prices too!

I thought you just take off the two screws on the top and the whole thing can just open up? If you want, go ahead and tear off those rubber feet, I aint ever gonna use'em anyways (Just stick'em in the box just incase I ever need them again). And if that's the case with the LED, I can do without it

Soo, about how much for the bypass fixed, boss style jack and mode switch? (Classic = stock, Turbo = high gain, mondo = ?) And how much is the shipping? Just so I can figure out things for when I pay you later on The battery door isn't important, I was just gonna throw some electrical tape over it, since I'm gonna stick it on my board, anyways.

The only Ted Nugent I listen to is Damn Yankees. They were one hell of a supergroup. But from what I remember from that... I don't recall a hollowbody. Hes a great guitarist.

And that's all cool Once exams are over, I'll see what I can get done to show you.

Yep, Chemistry and math are raping me as well I'm not gonna do well in chem for sure and I'll probably have to do a 2 week makeup course on it during the summer.

I see Well, I'm not going to do much dirt on it if I have a 335, I'd have my V for that stuff by then But we'll see what I like about it, and what I want more of, etc, etc.

And nice stuff Was that DSOTS stuff some sort of big studio project thing? I've gotta get myself a midi controller so I can start recording my stuff. That'll cover drums and synth. My bud lets me borrow his ovation bass when I need to record quick demos, and man it weighs like a million pounds

I want a DD-20, too, but they're pretty expensive, so the RP will do for now. But from what I understand, that DD-20 can do some crazyass sh!t
