Friendship requested.

Hey, sorry I took so long to reply. I haven't been around here as much lately. We have not left Portland yet, we have about another year until we move. We were in LA a few months ago for a wedding and hanging out pretty much solidified our decision.

It takes a lot of pressure off. I feel much more confident to make the music I like instead of being worried what other people think.

No worries. I don't allow myself to live under the delusion of ever being a professional musician, it is just fun, and challenging. Right now I am leaning more toward LA than the Bay area mostly due to there being a lot more colleges I could teach at when I finish my MFA.

I know this question is a bit random but what do you think of LA? After my wife finishes law school, we are considering moving there. I have some really close friends who live there but they are somewhat biased in their desire for us to move there.

I'm literally on the outskirts of London. There's loads of bands where I'm from, just most of them want to play a million notes per minute. And hey, if you ever come to London, let me know dude!

Sounds better than here... where I'm from, it always rains so we end up with "post-hardcore" (deathcore crap) bands coming out of nowhere and stuff. Shame really. And I really want a scene I can get behind but here they've never heard of what I call the "song"; y'know, with lyrics and stuff. Still, you guys ever gonna' tour England?
