Hmm... Indeed, the guy surely knows his tone. Nevertheless, alas!, jazz really ain't my thing. I find that interesting, but that's as far as I go into liking it. Zappa is the only "jazzy" artist I can dig--but even his stuff I don't like thoroughly.

Back to the video, I really like his approach, and how he turns bland jazz lines into meaningful melodies. Still not my cup of tea, but he has earned my respect.

Well, the whole "opposites attract" thing is bull****. We do prefer to socialize with people who have like interests. If I could, I'd only talk to geeks 24/7.

The wife was transferred to another city some 250 kilometers from where I live, and I spent the holidays there. We don't have a computer at home, so I was off the radar for a while. But now I'm back from outer space! lol
