band t-shirts

i am slowly converting my wardrobe to nothing but band/music related tshirts (my pabst blue ribbon shirt stays though).

what is your favorite band/guitar related tshirt of all time (it can be owned or not owned, preferably owned)?

i like the classic ac/dc letters shirt (owned)

the zeppelin stairway shirt (the dude on the steps holding the lantern, with the symbols on the back) is undeniably cool, but too many people have it at my school

tool shirts are tragically overworn and i enjoy being different, but they're cool too

im going to get a pigmy love circus shirt eventually!! those are sweet

ernie ball has cool shirts too

My favorite band t-shirt is the "classic" Smashing Pumpkins "Zero" T-shirt.
The long sleeve one seems cool but I've only seen it online like once.

My favourite was the seahorse Nirvana shirt...

I had the breeding cycle of the seahorse on the back and at the bottom "Yeah, this is a Nirvana shirt."

I don't really wear band shirts very often. I feel immature when I wear black screenprints and since that's what half of band shirts are..

I want a dark blue Deftones 'Satellite' T-shirt.

I have my Pearl Jam "Alive" shirt from when I was 12 or 13 years old ... that baby's seen some better days ...

But I love my new Dio shirt. Yup, with the Holy Diver glaring at everyone I see.

I have a Misfits Legacy of Brutality shirt that I found in a liquor store in Las Vegas. My friend and I used to grab whatever we could when we were in high school... but he and everyone else I ever met have said that I had the only shirt like that they have ever seen. Cool stuff. My favorite shirt though is a Star Tours shirt that say "Visit Bespin!" and on the back has a travel brochure for Bespin Cloud City.

My favourite band t-shirts are my two old Joy Division ones, my two Coil ones (i have seen one other person EVER wear a Coil shirt), and a Low one.

My best friend has a Swans shirt, though. Dammit.

I have this awesome Night Ranger shirt I picked up at a garage sale for like a quarter. On the back it says "7 Wishes Tour 1985" Weird because it's the year I was born. Don't like the band, I like the shirt.

I own a couple of Wilco shirts and am looking to get a couple of shirts for some other bands. I can understand the whole "why be a walking billboard" argument against wearing band t-shirts, I just don't think it overweighs the inherent coolness of wearing a cool shirt from a cool band. And while the band t-shirt wardbore has not gotten me laid anymore, it hasn't gotten me laid any less, either. I've actually gotten some complements from the ladies with like-minded musical tastes for my choice of apparel, so if wearing a band t-shirt avoids the need to use smarmy, cheesy pick-up lines to start a conversation with some fine, foxy lady, so much the better, I say. Just my opinion, though.

Band tshirts don't get you laid? Interesting..

I love my Dillinger Four "grave stone" tshirt, you wouldn't the amount of people who come up to me at clubs and say 'the d4 are fsking awesome, you should bring the cd next week man'.

When I was younger I had an Iron Maiden tshirt that I always wore, and never washed. Oh baby.
