Jazz covers of rock songs

Hi guys,

Last Saturday the conductor of a band I play in brought up he knew Brad Mehldau and shared the stage with him a couple of times. It reminded me of this:

He also does a pretty cool cover of Wonderwall.

Speaking of jazz covers of rock songs, Grant Green and Wes Montgomery both have pretty good versions of A day in the life. Any others you think you should share?

Check out The Alex Skolnik Trio, he's best known for being in Testament, but does jazz too and the albums have cover of quite a few rock songs.

Although they're quite humorous, Richard Cheese has done some good covers; check out Chop Suey or Down With The Sickness

Yeah, I found his cover of War Pigs long time ago, it was pretty amusing.

Ridiculous, but I own an album by him; I've conveniently misplaced it.
