Identifying pots
Ok, so I have a EMG equipped Ibanez and it doesn't seem to have the Balls that every other emg(or any other active pickup for that matter) equipped guitar has. I have changed the battery and checked the backs of the pickups to make sure they are true Emgs. These are real emgs and the only explanation I can come up with is they used the stock pots not the 5k's that are included and needed. I am also gonna make sure that theyre wired up right.
Edit: These are the EMG 81 85 set NOT the Knock off emg h1 or what ever they are.

The back of the pot should have a designation like A50() <- ()=Ohms sign
Unfortunately it is common to solder all over this bit. Using a multi-meter you can check the value 'in circuit' but this is much less certain than taking the reading with the pot disconnected.

OK good news, I took the pups out again and realized that in my attempt to figure this out I noticed that my pickups were backward(85 in bridge and 81 in neck) I do have one wire that needs to be resoldered but its already sounding better.
