Pot

alright i have some quesitons about pots, if i bought a pot from a vox wah could i just take the one from my crybaby out and put the vox pot in? and lets say i bought a volume pedal, could i just switch the pots to make the volume a wah and the wah a volume, i just think it would be more fun(and cheaper) the get a vox pot for my Crybaby to make it sound better

Do you know what size pot you need to replace?

I've replaced amp master volume pots with 500K & 1mg ones before.

It's possible to do...but changing JUST the pot will not necessarily make it sound better...there is other circuitry inside of the pedal making up the overall sound.

I misunderstood the question

... I totally agree with 'Slave 2 the Axe'. The Pot doesn't do anything but alter the signal inflow. It's like a water faucet with a slow to big leak depending on the pot size in Ks.
