535Q Wah v. 95Q Wah
I'm thinking of picking up a new wah and was wondering what the differences between these two pedals are - could you give me a summary of what the pros and cons of each pedal are?
Also, I've heard "Q" mentioned a lot in relation to wah pedals - what does this mean? Thanks.

I liked the 535q. It had alot of tweak.

I have a 95Q, and its ok. The way the switchless system works is unsettling at first, it takes alot of time to get used to the on/off delay times.
It has a bit of tweakability, but its just enough to make you want more a la 535Q. If you have the money, you should probably go with the 535Q. I certainly wish i had.

I have the 95Q and love it. I can't believe more wahs aren't switchless. What an improvement over other wahs I've had! I'm not sure it's the best wah around, but for the price and convenience it's great.

Q refers to the frequency range affected by the pedal sweep. (unless I'm utterly mistaken)

I have a 535Q and I love it! Your sound can be completely customised to your taste! The only thing is that its more expensive than the 95Q.

Also, if your not set on those two, you should really check out the 105Q.
![]() Its designed as a bass wah variant of the 95Q, but it still has a variable 'Q' and a variable boost, as well as switchless operation. The big difference is that the 105Q leaves your low frequencies alone, so you get to keep the foundation of the note, as well as wahing the upper registers. My bass-playing friend has one, and when you use it on guitar, it just seems to hit you in the chest more than my 95Q. I cant really think of any better way to descibe it. The 95 can be modded to 105 spec, but i dont know how, and the boards are an ICB on those wahs, which i dont feel like screwing around with.
