A/B Boxes
Will an A/B box allow me to switch from a group of floor pedals to a completely different program on a rack unit? Will it bypass the signal of the pedals so my full signal switches with whatever loop I'm using?

If you fed your stomp boxes from A, and your rack through B they would not cross (bypass the other) On an A/B box you just divert the guitar signal down whichever path, A or B. But are you using two amps? Because you'll have two signals; A from stompboxes and B from rack.

Probably not an A-B box but a true bypass box of some sort. I believe a double loop box would allow you to put your floor effects into one loop and use the other for rack effects.
Loop-Master has a ton of this stuff. |

I'm just using one cabinet. I'd like to be able to have a button that just switches from all pedals to all rack with no signal loss.
The Boss footswitch or another brand wouldn't be able to do this? |

You can make "easily" an A/B box with loops, so you have two different loops.
