Big Noise with Strato and Overdrive..

Hi there! First say hi to everybody...I am new in this forum and my native language is spanish ;-) but i'm gonna try to write in english....i am a professional musician (guitar player) and sometimes (not always) when i come to a new gig (whether a hall or an open air) i have a lot of noise when i turn on my Overdrive,it's a Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde and my guitar is a Fender StratoCaster 25th Anniversary (1994)....in my pedalboard i have more stomp boxes,in this order:
1-Sennheiser Wireless System EW
2-Peterson Tuner
3-Boss Tuner
4-OVERDRIVE JEKYLL & HYDE
5-Boss Flanger
6-Ibanez Tremo-Vibe
7-Boss Delay DD-20
8-Boss Noise Suppressor NS-2

And i work always with Tube Amps, like Fender,Vox,MArshall or MesaBoogie

The last time i had so much noise that, even, with the Noise Suppressor at maximum level,it was impossible to reduce the noise,but..the next day playing in another place,no noise coming from the guitar...so? My guitar has been* recently "shielded" so i am quite sure that this noise came from my pedalboard and the electricity system in each venue....
Could you help me?
Maybe i need some "Current transformer" or something for the electricity?
Thanks in advance and looking forward to hearing from you!!

My guess it's your wireless. I have the same issues with mine at times. Next time it happens, plug directly into the pedal chain with a cable sans the wireless. The trouble is though the wireless may be adding some gain to your rig. It may seem whimpier with it out of the system.

Thanks friend...I have tried this, and sometimes works but not always....somebody told me about the lightning system in the venues.....Do you know some "current transformer" for the electricity in each venue?

Hi and welcome!
What are you using to power your pedals? That could be the cause.
Also, one of the best things I've ever done with to my rig was to get a Suhr Backplate Silent System for my Strat - it allows you to run a Strat without any single coil buzz, even into high gain. It is amazing and it doesn't change the natural tone of your pickups in any way.
The only catch is that it is pretty expensive...

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

Hmm... *scratches head but decides if he did have 200 American + shipping + import taxes he'd get a custom pickguard, a new bridge and locking tuners*

Yeah for sure, it's one of those things that you really have to decide whether it's worth it for you. I think it's only worth it if you really love your pickups. For me, I have a set of Fralins I've had for over a decade and tonally they are it for me. So for me getting the Suhr system was worth it because yes it was a couple of hundred bucks but it made the sound that I truly love even more usable. I can now stand in front of a cranked high gain amp like a Recto or a 5150 with total killer vintage strat tone and no more background noise than guys/girls with JBs or whatever in there guitars. In other words it was worth more to me than new pickups or a new pedal or something. It may not be for everyone though.
