Question BOSS GT-3 Help Needed.

Hello All,

I've just bought a BOSS GT-3 on the understanding that I could assign the patch I wanted to each pedal, store that change, and have them all there again when I switch on the unit. I've read the manual, and I guess I'm too stupid to figure it out (my eyes glaze over when I read anything remotely technical)

If anyone could give me an idiots guide on how to do this I'd be very grateful. I've had a few ZOOM Multi-FX units before (G1, 707, & 707MKII), and couldn't get to grips with them either (must be my age!). I'd decided to go back to single pedals that I'd used before, but the BOSS was up for sale at a very good price and I was working on the assumption it was a more "professional" bit of kit.

I love the unit and there's some great Metal and Clean sounds that I definitely want to use, but (to me) they seem so far apart when it comes to choosing them - I just want them on pedals 1-4 where I can get them.

Apologies if this subject has been covered before, but I really need some help.

Thanks in advance,

David
