boss ns 2 vs. boss ns 50
how would you guys compare these two noise suppressors in quality of reducing noise and hum? also,do you know if the ns 50 has an effects loop? the ns 2 does. i play through about 7 or 8 effects and that will probably grow a little, would the effects loop be worth it? how much will it improve my sound and signal loss? please tell me what you know about these.. thanks alot

sorry i only know the ns-2 and it's very good in my opinion. after
you set everything up in the right manner (effects in the loop, delay after noise reduction) it is dead silent. notes fade out nicely and you'll loose nothing except the noise... no signal loss due to cutting, filtering - whatever. most noise gates i tried out just stopped when the the threshold was reached. this one works like the almost famous hush system - so - yeah it's worth a try.
