And if anyone thinks he wouldn't have bought everything that came out after it they are wrong.

In my mind, Hendrix is mostly known and see as a god because he died when he did. He would have had a number of terrible albums if he had lived. Jimi with a Roland Guitar Synth and a JC-120. I bet in some reality where he didn't overdose it happened.

Moog guitar into a Diezel with a pedal board the size of Rhode Island Would be playing slick new age-y blues jazz.

Naw. boutique versions of his original pedals, a boutique marshall clone with nos tubes. Custom shop strat. He'd be trying to cash in off his youth and the vintage/retro crazy. He'd be regretting the guitar synth records and swear them off as a bad drug trip when he moved from herion to coke.

also, jimi's disco album. some reality, it happened.

Possible pointless effects rant: I am a huge metallica fan, not like these other ********, I like ALL of their stuff. Even some of their St. Anger. But, I always people giving Kirk Flak about his use of the wah. But, look at his influences, Most if not all have used a wah at one point in time. Just name a guitarist and they used a wah at some point and time.
