Hardwire Supernatural?

Or is it just another way-too-hi-fi 'verb? Would that I could demo one.

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

I don't know man, I like lots of the patches it has on it, and dig the size. The one thing keeping it from being a must-have in my book is the lack of reverse reverb. Otherwise I'd be all-in.

Pretty much my thoughts on it, only I'm afraid videos are a little misleading. I really liked the Verbzilla until I got to play one and found the reverb signal sounded too "good", if you know what I mean -- nothing guitarlike. I don't care much for reverse, so I'd certainly be all-in.

Have you tried this one?

TC Electronic | Hall of Fame Reverb

That Toneprint feature sounds pretty interesting.

Hated the videos, but sounds interesting. I had an eye on the Tech 21 reverb as well.

Gah! So many options...

My .02 cents:

Hall of Fame: Awful

Tech 21: Owned it, awful.

Hardwire reverb: Good reverse, bad everything else.

Cathedral: What I use, i don't like it but it works.

Earthquaker Dispatch Master: Awesome reverb

Supernatural sounds to high-fi. Give me crusty racks or an RV-2.

Buy four bottles of Crown Royal, they come in a pretty box as well as a little sack in the box..... Gives you a good month of good times, like you'll have with this GAS....

Reminds me of the M5.... All this digital stuff..... If I don't have a reverb tank, I'll get by on an AD-9. Use a rack for your studio reverbs, just about any rack unit from the late 80's early 90's will sound as good as that, with a little more warmth, and half the price. My opinion, sorry it's biased. Just an amp wouldn't produce it that clear at all, and if it did, still would be frustrating, as every sound you make turns into this....

I actually really like the Hall of Fame especially with the Andy's Church model but I can see why some hate it but in my opinion the only thing lacking in the hall of fame is a good shimmer and reverse but I think the Trinity version has those on it

The Dispatch Master sounds really interesting. I only use my RV-5 in 'modulate' mode so could do with another 'verb that covers the room-hall region. I miss my EHX HG+, but could never be bothered with lugging around a dedicated power supply for it. I might as well get a Cathedral if I was going to do that.

It would render my Carbon Copy redundant for analogue self-oscillating silliness too if it has delay as well (EDIT: the DM doesn't self-oscillate after all? Shame). As for the M5, I'm considering one of those purely for modulation since I find myself wanting a bit of phase and flange every now and then but can't justify the cost of a Modfactor.

The alternative to all of this, of course, is for me to pick up a second-hand Alesis rackmount...

No, it doesnt. But the ghost disaster version of it does and offers a lot more control. If my board wasn't as full as I can get away with i would probably upgrade to the larger version, but as of right now i don't need the oscillation. The AD999 does that well enough.

It has one mode with more reverb on tap and a mode which combine reverb and a tremolo that sounds pretty silly on the demo.

Plus I hate Pro Guitar Shop exclusive pedals. It just pisses me off.

Anyone like the Blackstar HT-Reverb? Has the fancy modes including reverse and it comes in a snazzy cream chassis!

Only to realize those pedals were hooked up to the bass!

My fear precisely. Thanks.

Thing is, I do have a Microverb II which is noisy and I love nonetheless but a) I've fried its power supply and it's a pain to get another one and b) I'd rather have something in pedal form for the real time tweaking factor. Not to mention c) it's AC-powered, and ripple is a bitch. It is GAS, I'm aware of that, but it's also a need.

I eBayed my Microverb II for $12 (or was it $10?) plus shipping. Not the greatest, but hard to beat at that price.

Doesn't it? I could never really see the point, from the manufacturers' point of view.

So can't be hookers and Vegas, but bank accounts arn't always emptied for it.... Need I understand, it's the need to try it. Just like anything else in life.... You need endless gas though, sell all the pedals, and find an Axe FX.

And there's always gotta be that guy that's an @$$ hole, no matter if you believe him or not

When it comes to GAS, there's no asking, "do it, or do not, there is no try" in the words of yoda... I'm getting old, and the technology has no soul.....

The Alesis, you can always double or triple, and still save money... Every man dreams of a threesome, but very few do have it

Good luck in your quest, though, no valid points, you just gotta have fun with it
