Help Building Up My Pedalboard?!?!

Hello eveyone, this is my first post so i'm hoping you guys can help me out.

My pedalboard currently consists of Boss Tu-2, Boss DS-1, Vox V847, EHX Small Clone.

I'm mainily into Indie-Alt Rock, so the guitarists i like most from that area are Nick Valensi (The Strokes) and Miles Kane. Im hoping to base my sound something similar to this, im considering getting a MXR Micro Amp and a Danelectro Reel Echo, plus i'd really like to change my DS-1 as its a piece of crap.

Was wondering if you guts could help me on where to start pedal-wise to get a good strokesque indie guitar sound.

Also amp help woul be nice, i was thinking about getting a valve amp, ive heard good things about Fender Blues Junior?

Hello and welcome!

I'd swap the DS-1 for an older grey box Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde--or any kind of mild overdrive (TS-9, Boss SD-1, Vox V810, etc).

The Blues Jr is a great choice. An older Ampeg Jet is also a good alternative in that wattage range. Plenty loud for practice and mid-sized gigs...

Another good distortion pedal idea is the Electro Harmonix Germanium 4. The overdrive side is fantastic, and the distortion side gets pretty wild (especially feeding into the overdrive) but can tame to something very manageable for single note passages, and it's nice to have a higher gain option there and handy.

Talking about wireless pedals...

Only to realize those pedals were hooked up to the bass!

I'd like to add the the amp listen peavey classics and crate vintage clubs. Cheap and awesome.

Also, as unpopular as it is, i thought the pro co deucetone sounded pretty good.....

I'm pretty sure both guitarists from the Strokes us Vox and Fender amps. I'd go with a Fender Twin Reverb or Blues Junior. As for the DS-1 I'd go with what GG said the Jekyll and Hyde or maybe a DS-2. DS-2 is very versatile.

I've found a V1 J+H for £60, however, its the silver version. How do these compare to the red models?
