Ibanez cs9?

Ive heard pretty good things from this pedal on here. Basically this one site does trades for pedals, and I cant seem to find someone to buy my original expandora so I might just take less(50 percent less, sux) and trade for this pedal. Two questions, first one is this pedal really a good chorus?? and second one i have the link below, I thought these pedals were purple?? is this one a reissue or something. Im actually bummed, I think the purple ones look badasss

Because the ibanez doesnt have a level knob, I was also looking at this Carl Martin classic Chorus. Ive pretty much narrowed it down to these 2 pedals, Mainly because like I said this site excepts trades, so im just gonna make a decision on pedals they have.

Its very subtle and classic voiced (think plain in a good way), yet not volume drop at all. Perfect for light modulation, but if you're looking for leslie sim, or kinda wild chorus look elsewhere.

One of my all time favourite chorii. I had two at one point. None now. But that's because I was able to model it sufficiently for my needs using my ModFactor. If you want to hear it in action check out the lead on this track: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/870088/sounds/tae-days.mp3

They are purple, but I light coloured purple. Probably just the light that makes this one look a bit different. Looks to be in almost too good a shape to be an original though, but you never know.

I have one too. Definitely not a wild chorus but awesome in it's own right.

I just heard a side bye side comparison on ebay of the Boss CE-2 and the Ibanez cs9. I am now leaning toward the Boss CE2. Te ibanez brightens up the sound alittle bit, and is alil more harsh sounding. The boss seems to be alittle bit smoother and doesnt really effect your tone like the ibanez. The boss is gonna run me about 30 dollars more then the ibanez, ahhhh desicions desicions

Boss is the king of chorus. I've never played the ibanez chorus but I have the 9 series flanger and I really like it. It is very subtle in a good way.
