Ibanez DE7

Ive been looking for a delay pedal for a while and i had my eyes set on a dd-3. My dad was also looking for a delay pedal for his harp. So we went to a local music store and i was tryin some out and i picked up the de7 and played it and to my suprise it was not a bad pedal at all (i had been told the tone-lok pedals sucked). I was also only $60 so i decided to buy it and have been playing it ever since and i havnt found any drawbacks to it yet. What do you guys think of this pedal? Any good experiences with it? any bad?

That would be something!. I'd love an expression pedal for delay time on my De-7.

I gave in.

I just bought one.

And put the MD-3 up for sale.

Its a big step... but I think I made the right choice.

I'm not ragging on the MD-3, its a great pedal... but I've heard good things about the DE-7, so I'll give it a crank.

I've been wanting something a bit warmer now I'm on a Pink Floyd kick.

I emailed and PM'd Liys about doing it, but I haven't heard back from him.

Has anyone talked to Liys lately?

Just traded my FX-500 for a new DE-7 with boovya...can't wait for it to arrive! I've been going nuts with delay, and this should handle quite a bit of functions in my rig (longer digital delays, freeing up my PS-3 for pitch shifting and chorus sounds; oscillation, analog echo sims, slapbacks, etc).

Now I just need a dedicated looper with hold to round everything out, perhaps with a reverse delay.
