Question Jonny Greenwood and distortion

I understand that Jonny combines his shredmaster and distortion from his Fender Deluxe 85 together. Does this mean that they are both always together or does he use either the shredder or SD-1 as a boost for his amp distortion sometimes. E.g. uses shredder to boost gain on solos but just amp distortion for rhythm parts.... e.g Just chorus.

A bit of everything really. I know the SD1 was mostly used during the bends era as a distortion.

But sometimes he uses the amp alone, sometimes, the shredmaster alone, sometimes both. It's about a variety of sounds. I'm sure someone must have mapped out exactly where each pedal is used, Jonny Greenwood fans are like that.
