LED without True Bypass

I have a Micro Synth that I would like to mod for LED status, but I would still like to keep it buffered for volume stability. Would this be as simple as running the LED ground to one pole of the 3PDT switch and running the next pole down to the chassis ground ala this picture or is there something more I would need to do? I almost hate to ask, but my electronics knowledge is really basic and it would really suck to eff this thing up on such a simple procedure.

Thanks!

Having looked at the photo you linked to, I realise that whilst I understand the theory (and have advised like a pro) and stuff of ohms, TB, and buffers etc; I am in fact a f*ckwit in the world of electronics.

I can categorically state that your pic included a PCB and some wires...hope that helps!

Haha thanks for the reply, at least... I just went ahead and did it, and aside from not checking the photo carefully enough to notice that his switch was orientated 180 degrees from my own, it went off without a hitch (my first pass resulted in the LED turning off when the pedal was engaged and on when it was bypassed... kind of neat, but also not worth leaving like that).

Super easy, and super useful.
