Line 6 tone core dock help

Need some help, preferably from someone who has one of these. A while ago I bought a line 6 opto tremolo for dirt cheap (£20) It was ex demo in a guitar store where no one ever goes in my home town (cos they have crap gear most of the time and service is shocking!) Anyway, despite them refusing to let me hear it (!), i bought it knowing if I didn't like it I could sell it on the bay for more than I had paid for it.

Well, it turned out I actually quite like it. But I noticed the other week it has a little black button as it if it were to release the tonecore module. I had a look and that's what it seems to do but I couldn't get it to release (I need an Allen key in a size I don't have)

Long story short, I want to know if all tonecore pedals have this release button but some are just fixed pedals (ie you can't change the modules) or whether this is a a tone core dock and module and I've got even better value for money than I thought! Any help welcomed, thanks.

I was under the impression that all of the tone core modules could be switched around.

I've purchased 2 new Tonecore pedals and both of them are modules and docks. The hex key you need is a 7/64.

Brilliant replies thanks for that - esp for the hex key measurement, diamond! Mine looks like the screws have been stripped a little but nothing a hammer can sort! Excellent, another module here I come!

if i know correctly, all tonecore pedals can be switched out having the module and the dock separate.

i had a dr.distorto that i bought, didnt like it, needed a delay and bought the echo park module and works fine for me.

the stereo pedal modules also work with the mono dock just in case that ever comes up.
