There seems to be a whole lot of this:

But there is one man who it seems has been left out, and its somewhat suprising because about half of you have his name right on your headstock... That's right, Les Paul.

I would think that maybe the developement of the solid body electric guitar or multi-track recording would be enough to get him on the list... I mean there can't be many artists already on there that don't use some kind of device that was developed by him...

I'm stunned that they've only been mentioned once in this entire thread. They were a genesis in sonic abnormality. Strawberry Fields Forever still blows my mind, even in today's context.
