Need help with pedal order

Ok i have a boss OC-2 on the way and right now my pedal board is pretty full.....i think i can probably fit it but im gonna need to rearrange some things.

Ok first of all, should my octave come before the distortion? My current setup is Metal Zone, then Overdrive,Q Tron,Chorus,Flange,Phase Shifter, then delay.

Any tips on the order i would appreciate...thanks.

My advice-

Guitar > OC-2 > Q-Tron > Overdrive > Metal Zone > Chorus > Flange > Phaser > Delay > Amp

Or, if you have an effects loop:

Guitar > OC-2 > Q-Tron > Overdrive > Metal Zone > Amp

Effects Send > Chorus > Flange > Phaser > Delay > Effects Return

I like some flanger before my overdrive... but its an acquired taste. Some people like their phase before distortion as well.

Try both and see which you prefer.

Delay should be last though, generally.
