The fulldrive is a great pedal but has less 'oomph' then many overdrives imo. they have great transparency but you may find them a little anemic when its time to get some more power out of them; a Tubescreamer will give you more balls so to speak
I thought the Fulldrive was two Tubescreamers in one box?

Actually, a Tube Screamer and a booster.

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

Actually a tubescreamer and a second gain control.

The boost function is simply a second gain knob set in series with the first

For real? Well, I've gotta admit that's clever.

i don't hear the two pedals the same. my Fulltdrive is much more transparent than my Tubescreamers. im not too versed on circuits and all that but in my rig they sound quite different

LOL; still they are the same........

well almost; fulldrive has better quality parts and are true bypass (so you'll lose the FET buffer the Ibanez has)
