New EHX Pedal: Ravish Sitar--sitar/drone emulator

Full info at link below---I LOVE the sitar sound so i'll be watching for this one. My current champ is the sitar setting on Digitech's The Weapon.

Sounds pretty cool from the demos. I'd love to hear it glitch out though. That much circuitry must mean that it has potential in noise/glitch music.

It'll probably be like $300 though, so

Yeah, that was my concern--how much? I know it costs a lot to put so much sophisticated circuitry into a little metal box, even if doing so en masse in China, but this seems like a real niche item---and if the street price is 3 Benjamins, I'll just wait until it's blown out for $75 or so at MF or something.

EDIT:
$239.25 @ Sweetwater per link below. Sorry, no thanks.

That's really expensive for something I would imagine very few people would ACTUALLY use, but it certainly makes their product line-up stand out against the competition. These days, I think EHX are all about innovation, which is really quite admirable. Sounds pretty damn cool though...

Holy crap. If that thing responds well and really does its job I most definitely WOULD use that. Probably a lot! That is totally up my alley for the kind of stuff I play. Ah damn... I really shouldn't be looking at new pedals

Selling BOSS FW-3. I live in Brazil, mind you, so prepare yourself for $30-ish for shipping and waiting. Local pickup available, along with beautiful beaches and cheap bitches.

I wonder what it'd sound like after distortion.

Only to realize those pedals were hooked up to the bass!

...Aaaaand i think that's a heavy case of GAS building in my intestines. Good thing I just blew all my money on an old Ric 4003, cause then I'd have to figure out how to fit this on my board. That, and well, I hate shelling out that much dosh for a pretty limited function pedal

I kinda love it, clearly digital sounding but it does make you think sitar. danelectro sitar swami, digitech weapon, random multiFX presets didnt even come close

Perhaps--but in its price range it had BETTER make you think sitar. I'm currently VERY happy with the $60 I spent on The Weapon (used) for the sitar sound alone.

Yeah, major GAS attack for this pedal. Looks to be very expensive though.
