A new idea....maybe.

Ok so some of you may remember my post a while ago about finding an old fender bassman in my freinds bassment (if not, i did and i get to use it). Any way i plugged it all in tonight and tried it out, and it sounds amazing, the clean is soooooooo nice. Anyway on to the new "idea"

So while i was playing i tried the amp out wiht the channels "jumped" or whatever pluggint he input of the first channel into the input of the second right and a thought occurred to me what if i stuck some pedals inbetween the first and second channel. So i threw my Boss DS-1 inbetween channels, and i got this weird psuedo FX loop thingy going on because i can mix the amout of distortion in by ajusting the channel volumes and such. So i was just wondering if any other geeks out there have tried this and if not (and u have an amp with 4 inputs or something) u could and see what ya think.

Oh yeah and are there any pros that do this or something similar.

sorry for being long winded.
