Question noise gate

hi,
i have a peavey classic 30 that i boost with an mxr wylde overdrive too get maximum chunk. But it's relly noisy so what is a good noise gate (and cheap please !! ) i need a noise gate that will not change my sound and that really cuts all the noise (Little hum is okay i meen like big "shhhhh") And it would be alsow good if i can do a little feedback too (but it's ok without) Here are my propositions:
-boss ns-?
-mxr smart gate (too expensive thaught)

thanx

p.S: i need it alsow too be pretty radical so i can do sharp speed metal rythm with my other distortion box thanx

I have the Zakk Wylde OD as well- my God that thing is noisy as hell. I bought a Boss NS-2 and it really cuts down on the noise...almost completely. Granted, when you turn the amp up loud, you're going to get a little hum, but it's managable. Also, the only time I've been able to pull feedback out of it is when the volume is above 5 on my amp (Laney AOR 5012). So yea, it's possible to get feedback with it, but not exactly easy .

There's also the rocktron HUSH and the ISP decimator. I've heard only fantastic things about the decimator. I would at least check it out if I were you.
