Overdrive pedal

I know it has probably been posted many times but tho I wanted to ask, what overdrive pedal I should get? I will buy Mxr Phase90 and Boss DD-3 or Ibanez De-7 but not sure what overdrive I should use. I use Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 and usually I play music by Muse and Radiohead (tho I write few songs to).

i use an OD-3 through a hot rod deluxe, its a great pedal, but i think youd better suited with a distortion or a fuzz if you dont already have one

im not realy one to ask about the distortion, but I think radiohead use turbo RATs.

for distortion I use a RAT II and my band play just general alternative rock, we do weezer, pixies and smashing pumpkins covers, and the RAT II does the job for me.

I think for muse youd want something more fuzzy, but id still recommend a RAT II as its cheap and versatile, you could get muse sounds on the very high settings

Im sure some more knowledgable people will post soon

I know that Thom york from Radiohead uses turbo Rats and Matt Bellamy from Muse use Zvex Fuzz Factory. But thanks for the help.

A rat should do the trick, a modded SD-1 or something like that should work as well.

I would recommend the Rat II, for that is the greatest drive pedal out there...
