pedalboard query please help

my pedalboard contains the following. digitech verb - digitech digidelay - line 6 dl4 - keeley rat - boss phaser - keeley sd1. Now then, these pedals all sit permanently on my board and they are permanently plugged in together. i run the lot with a power supply. my question is - should i be disconnecting the pedals from each other when not in use? a mate of mine said that the board could build up static in it if i leave them connected all the time and the pedals may not function properly. what do you think?

Unplug the power supply.

Leave the pedal plugged in.

That's what I do, and there have been similar posts where I think people just recoomended unplugging the power suppply. And I've never heard that thing about static before

Is your mate smoking crack? There won't be any static build up from leaving your pedals plugged in.

its probably better to keep them connected together, then they should be all be somewhat grounded (electrically). for static to buildup you have to have things not grounded (thats why you can get rid of static buildup by touching a PSU when working on computer parts - PSU is grounded well)
