plexi in a box

so i recently got a fulldrive 2 and it loves my strat and my tele-great dirt and lead sounds from them. but, and i thought this might happen, it doesn't favor my sg as far as rhythm work goes (great for leads though). so i'm wondering-what is the closest i can get to a plexi in the form of a pedal. i'm looking for sort of a jimmy page/warren haynes-ish tone. i was thinking either an EHX English Muff'n or a Radial Tonebone Hot British-would either of these fit the bill?

thanks,
hunter

The Hot Brit is awesome, but it's over the top. More Iron Maiden than Page.

Try the Klon Centaur or a modded bd-2 for warren haynes

I don't think the Hot British would do it. All the clips on the site are super distorted, they seem to only do modern extremely heavy marshall sounds.

There's a pedal called aLovepedal COT-50, which sounds very authentic if you hear the clips of it.

The Klon is like 350 USD. That's a huge investment to make.

The Hot Brittish might do it. So, I +1 to that.

rubbish. doesn´t sound like a plexi anyway - sounds much more like a modded JCM 800!!! Although, good pedal - but does not like every amp - don´t believe the hype...!!!

Cot50
King of the Britains
Toadworks Death Rattle
HAO Rust Driver
Carl Martin Plexitone

I have the Cot50 and think it's great - it would probably do a much better Jimmy Page than Warren Haynes though. I think Moe's modded BD-2 suggestion is good, esepcially with your SG - that pedal sounds really nice with humbuckers.
