I've been using an Alesis nanoverb for a while now. It has quite a lot of 'verbs in it, and I think it's better (and cheaper) than the boss units for over the top reverb. Which is not saying much... But if you only need reverb for noisy wall of sound shoegaze type sounds (like I do, since the spring 'verb on my amp is excellent), it works. However, like most older alesis units, it's damn noisy, so you better find a way of keeping it outside you signal path when not using it.

RV-3.

although if you're a big pearl jam fan and into that type of stuff playing-wise, i'd probably just suggest a holy grail.

At least like they arent super rare or anything, there might not be many in your area, but a few are bound to pop up sooner or later, lets just hope you find a good one.............

I'm a big fan of the RV-3, but if you want spring reverb sounds get the holy grail.
My main annoyance at the Holy Grail is that you cannot adjust the decay of the reverb. It seems to be a bit too long for me.

See, that is the weird part, most stores are going to more special ordering for EH around here. One store has offered to have most the stock sent from TO so I cn pick the best and then they will send the rest back. And after the first one, I will not buy it off ebay, etc.

I think stores are tired of EH pedals endlessly being returned as well.....

They might be common pedals, but a good one is as rare as a PDS8000/16 second delay.

i like alot of the settings on the digiverb. they are all very different. much to choose from. 7 setting like i said before. i am also a fan of the RV-3. mostly becuase you have some delay setting on that aswell. you can always use another delay pedal!

The Dano Spring King is pretty sick because you can kick it.
i heard the kick function is really sensitive and it can easily be "kicked" by stage vibrations or stomping around near it. is that true?

YEs. very true. the JCM2000 2 rows from me cause it to vibrate when I was trying it in a store.
