Reverb/Delay Unit?

I have an Orange Rockerverb 50 head running through a Marshall 1960A cab The tone kills, but the amp's reverb leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm looking for a pedal or rack unit to put in the fx loop of the head. I'm not a big effects guy, so reverb and delay is all I'll use most of the time. Whatever it is, I don't want it to take away or diminish the overall tone of my amp.

I've looked in to the following

Pedals: Boss RV-3, Boss RE20, Line 6 Verbzilla (reverb only)

Rack: TC Electronics G-Major, Digitech GSP 1101, Lexicon MPX 500

Which of these, or any other suggestions, would you choose?

well reverb and delay are 2 different beasts IMO

if your looking for a reverb around the rv-3 verbzilla price mark id say Verbzilla many people swear by them and they have some great options, but IMO i dont like them they can be tinny and thin. For a real sweet shimmering reverb you need to spend tha cash haha i recomend the Dr Scientist Reverberator an amazing pedal i pretty much dont turn mine off when i play it adds to the over all sound of my guitar aswell as having a vast array of options!

For delay, i currently use a DL4 and MXR Carbon Copy i love them both for different reasons and there very very diff IMO. BUT seeing as you specify tone specificly im going to recomend the MXR as the DL4 without a buffer IMO can hurt your tone a little.

not a big guy with rack gear so ill leave that to somone else!

but i hope that helps a little...

I don't think the verbzilla was ever meant to be used on half the settings it has. I love mine and i only use the cave and hall. If you wanted a verbzilla you'd probably know you wanted one.

RV-3 will give you all standard reverb and delay you could ever use. alone and/or mixed.

look something else if you want something more radical (octo, modulated, etc)
