Teese RMC Wizard Wah
I haven't had the wah long enough to give it an in depth review, but after spending some quality time with it last night (I got my Christmas bonus from work) since I picked it up, I can say this...
It is the best sounding wah.
Very vocal. Very smooth. No dead spots. The boost (volume) is perfect for helping your tone come thru the mix.
The worksmanship is second to none (sorry Mike Fuller).
First thing I did was open it up and compare it with the Vox I had Keeley modify - it makes the work Keeley did look sloppy (again...sorry).
And the sound - tuned for higher output pick ups (humbuckers)...its just what I wanted. I have never played a better wah.
Teeses only makes wahs, and you can tell from the second you step on one of his RMC's.
I cannot stress this enough - if you're in the market for a new wah Teese is the man...not to discount the Fulltone wah's by any means.
The Fulltone Clydes are both really, really nice wah's, and were my first choice for my wah upgrade...but in a side by side shoot out, Teese won, wah's down. I am really ahppy with the Wizard.
Did I also mention that it has a cool anme, and is painted red ?
