For anyone with a DL4, there's a trick I found... even though some people might have found it already, it's pretty simple...

but, what you do, is turn the mix knob all the way up, and the repeats all the way down, and all you get is the wet signal.

So, like, if you go to Lo Res, then you get this awesome, bad quality sound. or Analog w/mod or digi w/mod, you get chorus.

Auto Volume is awesome too.

i was able to get a "ring mod ish" sound using the reverse delay similar to what you're saying. try that out

when you say "lo res" is that just the tape delay setting? I have an echo park and I was wondering if that's the same or a completely different feature.

I just got my DL-4 in the mail today. I'm in love. It's sounds so good with my Digidelay and Deluxe Memory Man. I really like the Auto-Volume and Sweep echo delays.
