Steve Vai - Sisters backing track? PLZ help!

I really want to play this tune at my friend's wedding next Saturday, but the octave part in the bridge is a little empty without the bassline. I would really like to get a backing track for this, I don't want to have to make one. If it comes down to it, I will. Anyone know where I can get a backing track of this song? I looked on guitarbt.com, but they don't have that song. I know they have a book/cd "In Session with Steve Vai" that has a backing track, but I don't think I'll be able to find it by Saturday.

Maybe somebody could rip me that song, if they had it? Please, any help would be appreciated.

Man, I loved P&W when I was kid. I played Sisters for a competition when I was 15 or so. Everyone else was playing classical pieces. I think the judge's comments were something along the lines of, "Nice but you are in the wrong room." Hehehe...ahh the good old days.

Can't help you with the backing tracking but I agree the double stop parts in the upper register can sound a little empty. Try a low E and A drones if you can't get a backing track together. IIRC they work pretty well with the Em phrasing of the section of the song.

The cd seems to be knackered and not ripping, so I'm going to try playing it on a cd player into the line in of the computer and recording it with Audacity.

I need to get a 1/8 to 1/8 cable anyway, this gives me a reason to get one.
Just hope the cd is playable.

It went very well., although not a whole lot of people were really listening. If it were guitar hero I would've played it about 98%. I messed up that one double stop slide on frets 15-17, near the end. I HATE STEVE VAI!! Just kidding, he's amazing, I strive to be as perfect as him....

Thanks for everything....

This thread made me learn the song. It's awesome.

and that slide is pretty elusive because it's a long way to get up to it.

Do you think that you could send me the backing track as well?

If you could that'd be sweet, since all I have is a MIDI one right now.
