Sound Issues
I record into Logic 8 Pro using a peavey 16 Ch. analog soundboard, I have a cord going to the mic port or 'line in' on my macbook. The sound quality is fine, It always gets the studio quality that I want. The problem is, when I play my track at a given volume where it sounds normal, and then I play a track by anyone else via itunes or any other music playing app, my music that I'm creating is significantly quieter than the music going through itunes.
If anyone knows anything about recording, I feel as though my input volume or volume going through my amp may be the problem, but I am not sure. Has anyone dealt with anything similar? Does anyone know how to fix it? |

I started a thread about something similar, there's a setting under export that says normalize audio or something like that, if you uncheck it, it should fix it.
